The latest on the investigation into the singer's death, his estate and tributes: 8:02 a.m. ET:  Within hours of the Drug Enforcement Agency and the U.S. attorney's office joining the Carver County Sheriff's probe into Prince's death on Wednesday, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported that the painkiller Percocet was detected in the singer's body when he died on April 21, citing a source familiar with the investigation. However, until the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office releases its conclusive findings, we won't know what actually caused his death. Toxicology reports, the lengthiest part of the autopsy process, generally take between three weeks to one month to be released, which means Prince's results are probably not due for another week or two. Wednesday also brought news that addiction specialist Andrew Kornfeld from the California-based Recovery Without Walls had been summoned to Paisley Park the day of Prince's death ...

The Cambridge family has a new addition! The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton , revealed on Wednesday (May 4) that a hamster named Marvin has joined their brood. The royal shared the news that she and Prince William purchased the pet for their children Prince George and Princess Charlotte as she opened Hampton Court's new Magic Garden . Kate spent time chatting to a group of schoolchildren who were playing in the newly-opened garden, including a nine-year-old girl called Darcey, who explained: "She said she had a hamster, and Charlotte really likes it because the whiskers always tickle her face." Marvin is the Cambridge family's second pet; William and Kate received their cocker spaniel Lupo as a gift from James Middleton following their wedding in April 2011. Since Virginia firefighter Nicole Mittendorff was reported missing April 15, her relatives have appealed to the public for help finding her. he body of a Virginia firefighter has been discovered at a national park nearly a week after she failed to show up at work, authorities say. Virginia State Police officers discovered the body Thursday in Shenandoah National Park , CNN affiliate WJLA reported.    Nicole Mittendorff's 2009 Mini Cooper was found Saturday night, a day after she was reported missing.   In addition to the remains, police said they found a suicide note in her vehicle , according to the affiliate. It said authorities have ruled out foul play in her death. Officers discovered the remains in treacherous, rocky terrain more than a mile from where her car was parked, authorities said.    Since she was reported missing April 15, her relatives and colleagues have appealed to the public for help finding her....
