Body of missing Virginia firefighter found

Since Virginia firefighter Nicole Mittendorff was reported missing April 15, her relatives have appealed to the public for help finding her. he body of a Virginia firefighter has been discovered at a national park nearly a week after she failed to show up at work, authorities say. Virginia State Police officers discovered the body Thursday in Shenandoah National Park , CNN affiliate WJLA reported.    Nicole Mittendorff's 2009 Mini Cooper was found Saturday night, a day after she was reported missing.   In addition to the remains, police said they found a suicide note in her vehicle , according to the affiliate. It said authorities have ruled out foul play in her death. Officers discovered the remains in treacherous, rocky terrain more than a mile from where her car was parked, authorities said.    Since she was reported missing April 15, her relatives and colleagues have appealed to the public for help finding her....

Prince autopsy planned for today

  As stunned fans mourned legendary singer Prince, questions remained on what killed him days after he performed in Atlanta to rave reviews. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death. An autopsy will be conducted Friday, starting at 9 a.m. CT (10 a.m. ET).    Prince Rogers Nelson , 57, died Thursday after he was found unresponsive in an elevator at his studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota.    Paramedics tried to perform CPR but were unable to revive him, authorities said.
