This Man Gave The Best No-Nonsense Reply When Asked Why Son Skipped School
When a school texted this Dad to ask why his son missed registration, it received some ‘lighthearted banter’ back.

Morgan (above, with wife Claire) sent the school a snap of his son,
James, in front of Dubai’s Burj Al Arab by way of explaining that he was
on holiday with his parents instead of at school.
Morgan
and his wife run a travel company, and decided to take James out of
school on March 3 to go on a last-minute break to Dubai.
It
was so last-minute, they didn’t have time to let Stanwell School in
Penarth, South Wales, know that James wasn’t going to be in.
“When I got the message I decided to send the picture because I think a picture tells a thousand words,“ Simon explained. “I think from the photo it was then quite apparent where he was.”

It’s not the first time Morgan
has sent ‘comical’ messages to the school’s automated absence system; he
has previously explained James being late by the fact that they
were “chased by lions” the night before and were “still up a tree”.
On another occasion he joked that James couldn’t make it to school because hippos had blocked his bedroom door.
